Condoms and Receptive Condoms

Condoms are a thin tube of latex that is designed to fit snugly around the penis (and some sex toys called dildos!). Condoms are great because they protect against STIs AND pregnancy, and they are easy to get. Condoms come in many colors, sizes, textures, and even flavors! Family Tree Clinic has free condoms in the waiting room. Come by and stock up!

Receptive Condom
The receptive condom (FC2 or female condom) is a thin pouch made of poly-urethane and made to fit inside the vagina. The inner and outer rings of the receptive condom help hold it in place when a person is having sex. The receptive condom may also be placed inside the anus for protection during anal sex.
