Family Tree Clinic

Midwest Trans health Education Network

Introducing the Midwest Trans Health Education Network!

Starting in 2022, Family Tree Clinic received a five year grant from the Bush Foundation to develop a model for training and supporting health care providers to deliver gender-affirming care in their home communities.

This project develops a training and peer mentorship program for healthcare providers on how to provide competent and gender-affirming care to trans and gender expansive people. Through this project we seek to build a network of competent providers across the region to support each other and their patients seeking care.

The first cohort of providers starts in late March 2023. Cohort participants will engage in 6 monthly training sessions, and additional opportunities for peer mentorship. For more information on joining the cohort, or signing up for the next round, contact Dylan Flunker.
