peer to peer sex education
Keeping it safe and sexy (KISS)
KISS (Keeping it Safe and Sexy) is a summer program for LGBTQ youth and allies to train as sexual health educators at Family Tree Clinic. The program will begin its 8th year in 2017. This is an awesome opportunity for teens to learn about sexual health issues, be trained as a peer educator, develop leadership and communication skills, and earn money.
KISS is open to youth ages 14-18.
Program perks include:
- Reimbursable bus fare!
- FREE lunch!
- FREE condoms!
- FREE lube!
- FREE birth control teaching kit!
This is a great summer activity for teens who want to learn about sexual health and become sexual health resources in their communities. Peer educators will also earn money by teaching what they have learned to friends and family!
