Ways to Give: Individual Donations

Why Donate?
As a nonprofit clinic, it is part of our mission to provide affordable services. We are committed to serving uninsured and under-insured men and women. Patients are usually charged between 40% and 100% of the actual cost of the visit. Individual donations are critical to fulfilling our mission. Your spirit of giving is a vote of confidence in our work and we thank you for partnering with us in this shared venture.

Here are examples of how your gift can support our work:

  • $25 buys 400 condoms to distribute in the community
  • $50 2 packages of Emergency Contraception (EC)
  • $80 supplies four months of birth control pills to a low-income patient
  • $100 pays for three rapid HIV tests
  • $250 covers three annual exams, Pap and breast exams for women at the lowest-level of the sliding fee scale
  • $550 provides a patient with up to 10 years of safe, effective pregnancy prevention
  • $1,000 provides 50 Chlamydia tests

Your gift is tax-deductible and can be made by cash, check or if you would prefer to donate online, click here to go directly to paypal. Undesignated gifts from individuals allow the greatest flexibility to direct it where it is most needed.

You can also donate by:

  • Mailing in your donation by downloading the donation form and printing it out to enclose with your check. Please mail it to: Family Tree Clinic, Attention Janice, 1619 Dayton Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104.
  • Donating through the Community Shares Fund web-site, which enables you to use your credit card online. In the Special Instructions area, please designate Family Tree Clinic as the recipient of your gift. As a member of Community Shares of Minnesota (formerly Community Solutions Fund) Family Tree benefits from their presence in workplace giving campaigns throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.   • Setting up a payroll deduction plan – Please talk with your Human Resources representative to arrange to make a designated donation to Family Tree.
