Sexual health is a topic kids are curious about and there is helpful and appropriate info to share with kids of all ages. We’re excited to share a new video series featuring Bethany Gehman, director of our Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing program at Family Tree. This series focuses on providing strategies and tools to have effective conversations with the children in your life about sexual health topics like gender, puberty, consent, and more.
These conversations make space for parents and caregivers to share their values and hopes for their children. Open, honest conversation supports safety and well-being for your child as they grow.
The first It’s That Easy video will explain the importance of having conversations about sexual health with your children.
