On July 1, 2006 a program called the Minnesota Family Planning Program became available to many low-income Minnesota men and women. This program provides free family planning services including yearly exams and birth control at Family Tree.
You are eligible for this program if you:
- Are between the ages of 15 and 50
- Are a MN resident
- Are a U.S. citizen or a non-citizen who is qualified to participate in federally funded programs
- Have an income at or below 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines (under $1702 gross monthly income for a single person). For people under 21 years of age, parents’ income is not considered.
- Are not pregnant
- Are not enrolled in Medical Assistance, MinnesotaCare or General Assistance Medical Care.
