Family Tree is a leading reproductive and sexual health care clinic. We strive to offer the best possible care at prices you can afford. We bring a unique perspective to our health care services, putting the focus on education, accessibility and understanding.
We see men, women, and teens for reproductive and sexual health care. We provide ASL and foreign language translation services. Many of our exam rooms are accessible.
Family Tree is a nonprofit clinic dedicated to quality, affordable care. We strive to keep our costs as low as possible. We ask that you do your part by paying for your visit at the time of your visit. We base our charges on a sliding fee scale. This means you will be charged between 40 to 100 percent of the actual cost of your visit depending on your income. If you are unable to pay your entire bill at the time of your visit we can bill you for the balance. We’re happy to send bills in plain envelopes without our name if you prefer.
It is our philosophy that everyone is entitled to quality health care even if they don’t have money to pay for that health care. We will ask you to pay for at least the lab tests done at your appointment and any medications you take with you. You will not be denied service here if you can’t pay. We expect that eventually everyone will pay their bill, but please do not hesitate to make an appointment even if you don’t have the money to pay for your visit on the day of your visit.
Family Tree takes Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medica. If you have other insurance or medical assistance and you would like us to bill them for your visit we are happy to oblige. We recommend you always check with your insurance provider to make sure they will cover visits at Family Tree. If coverage is through your parent’s policy, your parents will receive a copy of the charges from the insurance company.
